Case Files Professional — Account & Data Deletion

Request deletion of your Case Files Professional app account and associated personal data without signing in. See the steps and retention exceptions.

Effective date: October 20, 2026

Request deletion from your agency without signing in

This page is for users of Case Files Professional, also called Case Files Mobile or Case Files Pro, provided by Case Files Professional. You can request deletion of your app account and associated personal data, or request deletion of particular data, without installing the app or signing in. The Android package is com.casefilesprofessional.mobile. iPhone availability is pending.

Send your deletion request directly to the agency or organization that issued your account. Each agency controls its own user accounts and investigative records. Use its official privacy, support or administrator contact; this applies whether the system is self-hosted or hosted through Case Files Professional.

How to contact your agency

Find the right agency contact

  1. Identify the agency that provided your Case Files Professional login. Your agency server domain, assignment correspondence or onboarding email can help identify it.
  2. Use that agency’s official website, privacy notice or existing administrator/support contact to find its privacy or account administrator email. You do not need to sign in to this app to send a request.
  3. Send an email to the agency with the subject Case Files Professional — Account and Data Deletion and the information listed below.

If you do not know the agency contact or cannot reach it, email info@casefilespro.com for assistance identifying or contacting the responsible agency. Include the agency name and server domain if known. This is an assistance route, not automatic deletion or automatic forwarding. We will verify relevant details and coordinate with the responsible agency as appropriate; do not send confidential case records.

What to include

  1. Your account email address or username.
  2. Your agency or organization name and the server domain you use, if known.
  3. Whether you want your account and associated personal data deleted, or only specified data deleted.
  4. A reply address if different from the address used to send the request.

Do not send your password, authentication codes, case evidence, full government identification numbers or unrelated sensitive records. If you cannot identify the server or access your registered email, explain this in your message so we can discuss an alternative verification method.

How requests are handled

Your agency reviews requests sent to it, verifies your identity and authority as reasonably necessary, and determines and carries out the appropriate deletion. If you contact us for help, we review the information needed to identify the agency and assist with coordination; we do not decide the agency’s lawful retention obligations. Agency accounts are provisioned by administrators rather than public self-service registration. Buying software or using the mobile app does not give the software provider unrestricted access to a self-hosted agency’s records. You can also contact your agency administrator directly; our email route remains available if you need assistance or cannot sign in.

For self-hosted installations, deletion of server-held information must be performed by the responsible agency or its authorized administrator. For installations hosted through us, we coordinate the request under the hosting arrangement and applicable law. We will explain the next steps, any verification needed, and any information that cannot lawfully be deleted. Requests are processed without undue delay and within applicable legal deadlines; the time needed depends on verification, agency coordination and the scope of the records. If additional time is permitted and needed, we will explain the reason and expected timeframe. A request is not a guarantee that all records will be erased immediately.

Data considered for deletion

An account-deletion request covers the account and associated personal data within the responsible organization’s control, not just disabling sign-in. This can include account/profile identifiers and contact details, authentication tokens and mobile messaging registrations, and personal data associated with GPS check-in/check-out history, notes, uploads and activity records. We or the responsible agency will determine which records are associated with your account and can be deleted, and direct relevant service providers to delete data as appropriate. Case records containing information about other people are not automatically yours to erase.

You can instead identify particular data for deletion while keeping your account. Whether a partial deletion can be completed depends on lawful retention duties, the agency’s responsibilities and whether the data is needed to provide the requested service. We will explain any limitation. We will communicate the outcome after review and processing.

Records that may need to be retained

Some records may be retained where necessary and permitted or required for legal obligations, evidence preservation, a litigation hold, regulatory recordkeeping, security, fraud prevention or establishing, exercising or defending legal claims. Examples can include case evidence, custody records, legally required business records, security audit entries and a limited record of the deletion request itself. A general preference to retain data does not override a legally valid deletion right.

There is no single additional retention period for every agency or case. The responsible organization determines the applicable period from the record’s purpose and governing obligations. When data is retained, we or the agency will identify the relevant categories, the reason, and the applicable period or criteria for determining it, subject to lawful disclosure limits. Retained data should be limited to that purpose. Backup copies may remain until scheduled expiry or rotation, or longer if legally preserved; deletion instructions must be respected if a backup is restored.

Data stored on your device

Signing out, uninstalling or clearing app storage does not delete submitted records from the agency server. Android’s app storage controls or uninstallation can remove locally stored app information, including unsent drafts; files you separately saved or exported may need to be deleted from their chosen destination. Revoking permissions stops the affected future device access but does not erase previously submitted data. Deactivating an account is not the same as deleting it.

Questions and follow-up

Send follow-up questions to the agency handling your request, using the same email thread when possible. If you contacted Case Files Professional for assistance, you may also follow up at info@casefilespro.com. Do not submit a request for another person unless you have authority to act for them. Applicable privacy rights and lawful exceptions remain in effect.
