THE VIDEO WORKFLOW

From camera clips to reviewed deliverables.

Bring surveillance footage into a focused video workspace. Review the recording information, prepare the useful portions and save finished copies while keeping original source files intact.

01 / REVIEW

Verify the recording clock.

Inspect source information and review camera dates, timezones and signed clock corrections. Confirm the working time before processing; a camera’s metadata does not independently verify when an event occurred.

02 / PREPARE

Edit and timestamp the footage.

Trim clips, keep separate useful segments, rotate the image and adjust brightness or contrast. Apply a readable date/time stamp and supported static privacy blur, then inspect the prepared output.

03 / DELIVER

Save separately or combine.

Export individual clips, checked clips or a reviewed sequence as silent MP4 output. Capture timestamped stills and use supported agency branding, title/day cards and delivery parts.

Clock and export settings stay connected to the work: a trimmed segment’s timestamp follows its source position. Source formats and playback depend on the camera file and available codecs. The privacy region stays fixed; automatic face detection and motion tracking are not included.

SERVER CONNECTED MODE

Upload photos and video
to the specific case they belong to.

Connect MediaPro to your Case Files Professional agency, select an authorized case and subject, and review the destination before confirming an upload. Keep local media preparation connected to the correct investigation.

Combined video → case review

Choose a completed combined video and upload it to the selected case and subject through the compatible case workflow. Manager review and client release remain separate steps; a desktop upload does not automatically publish the video to clients.

Exported photos → case documents

Check the exported photographs you want to deliver and confirm the agency, case and subject. Supported JPEG, PNG and WebP exports are uploaded to internal Case Documents for that case. Photos are not automatically assigned as subject portraits or released to clients.

  1. Connect to your authorized agency.
  2. Select the case and subject.
  3. Review the prepared media and confirm the upload.

Server Connected mode requires an authorized account, access to the selected case, internet connectivity and a compatible Case Files Professional connector. Both self-hosted and hosted agency installations can use supported connections. PDF photo reports save locally in this release. Photo transfer pause/resume works within the running session; transfer recovery after restarting the app is not supported.

PHOTO TOOLS

Prepare field photographs
with the same attention to detail.

Move between video and photo workspaces in one application. Review photographs, choose a working clock and prepare output copies without changing the source images.

Organize and inspect

Import selected files or a folder, switch between thumbnail and list views, sort and reorder photographs, and work with the current image or checked selections. Inspect dimensions, available metadata and image previews.

Correct dates and add timestamps

Keep original date information separate from the working clock. Set or shift dates, convert timezones and preview changes before applying them. Configure the visible date/time stamp; missing dates remain identified for review.

Adjust and export copies

Preview rotation, flips, crop, resize, brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, effects and borders. Reuse adjustment presets and export JPEG, PNG, WebP, TIFF or BMP copies to a folder you choose, with supported metadata and naming options.

Build photo reports

Create local PDF reports from checked exports, with a report title, optional agency and case/subject labels, two photographs per page, working-clock captions, hashes and page numbers. Verified Locate can reconnect a moved export to its record when its size and hash match.

CHOOSE HOW YOU WORK

Standalone preparation.
Optional agency connection.

Standalone mode

Use MediaPro as a separately licensed Windows program for local video and photo preparation. Save processed clips, combined videos, stills, photos and PDF photo reports to your chosen folders without connecting to a Case Files Professional agency. Licensing and update functions can still require internet access.

Ask about standalone licensing ↗

MediaPro questions, answered.

Can I upload media to a particular case?

Yes. In Server Connected mode, select an authorized case and subject, review the destination, then upload a completed combined video or supported exported photos. The agency installation needs the compatible connector. Photo uploads go to internal case documents; combined videos follow the supported review and release workflow.

Can I use MediaPro without Case Files Professional?

Yes. Standalone mode provides local video and photo preparation and saving under a paid license. A Case Files Professional account is needed only for the supported agency connection, not for local preparation.

Are original files overwritten?

Work is prepared as settings and output copies. Keep original files and appropriate backups. Recording times and exported material still require review; a software record or hash does not by itself establish legal authenticity or admissibility.

Does a case upload release the media to clients?

No. Internal photo documents and combined-video review are separate from authorized client release. Confirm the agency’s permissions and release procedures.

What do processing controls show?

Supported processing and transfer dialogs show progress, elapsed time and estimated time remaining, with pause/resume, cancellation and completion controls. Pauses and cancellations can apply between stages or upload chunks, and an in-flight server commit may complete. Check the case before retrying an upload with an uncertain confirmation.
