Explore VISTA online training and academy management

A public academy built around your brand

VISTA provides a public course experience connected to an academy administration workspace and student portal. Present your academy identity, course descriptions, learning objectives, enrollment choices, and student support information. Organization branding settings allow your school to use its own identity and favicon. A consistent public experience helps prospective students understand what they are buying and where they will study.

Build courses from modules, lessons, and resources

The course builder brings titles, URL slugs, categories, certificate titles, short catalog summaries, full descriptions, and course banner images into a structured editing workflow. Arrange learning material into modules and topic-specific lessons. Include the available lesson resources and reference documents to support learning. Keep drafts under administrative control while preparing the material for publication.

Keep curriculum planning separate from publication

Curriculum readiness views summarize courses, module and lesson counts, planned and required instructional time, and publication status. Review the current published material and the supporting approval records before making a course available. The readiness workflow helps administrators identify unfinished content and review instructional requirements. A recorded approval status is administrative evidence; it does not independently establish an external regulator’s approval.

Give students a connected learning workspace

Students access purchased or assigned courses through the student portal, follow the module and lesson sequence, and review their progress. Self-paced delivery lets learners return to available material within the academy’s access rules. Course-specific progression settings can tie access to required learning activity and successful assessments. The academy determines its instructional design, availability, and support procedures.

Use assessments to support meaningful progression

Lesson mastery assessments and course final exams provide checkpoints for learning. Apply the assessment and passing requirements supported by the selected course configuration rather than imposing one threshold on every program. Administrators can review completion records and any work requiring attention. Course publishers remain responsible for the questions, scoring decisions, and suitability of their assessments.

Connect enrollment, payment, and course access

Enrollment workflows connect course selection, account creation, checkout, and access to the selected program. Configure the available Stripe or Authorize.Net payment settings for the installed deployment. Payment provider accounts and transaction charges are separate from VISTA. Review receipts, enrollment status, and revenue reporting when reconciling academy activity; confirm gateway availability during onboarding.

Manage certificates and authorized signatures

Set certificate titles and certificate signatory information for the academy. Completion workflows connect the learner, course, and recorded requirements before a certificate is issued. Configure the authorized signature and review the academy’s certificate process. A completion certificate documents the academy’s training outcome; professional licensing or external certification remains subject to the relevant issuing authority.

Administer the academy from an operational dashboard

Review active students, active enrollments, completed programs, records needing review, published courses, and paid revenue from the dashboard. Recent enrollment views provide a direct route to learner and course information. Quick actions support course creation, students, announcements, resources, payments, and reports. Administration menus group learning, operations, compliance, public-site, and system tasks.

Configure email, branding, and academy settings

Academy Settings brings organization identity, student support email, email delivery, payment configuration, and certificate signatory settings together. Configure the academy timezone and supported integrations during setup. VISTA Cloud uses configured Dropbox storage for uploads, with local server storage when Dropbox is not configured. Provider credentials and permissions must be configured for the services your academy chooses.

Maintain backups, recovery, and cumulative updates

Scheduled database backups and periodic full-system backups support recovery planning. Configure the available Dropbox destination or local fallback, review backup history, and test restoration in an appropriate environment. Use the cumulative Update Center to apply compatible releases and its verification workflow. Installation and scheduler setup should be checked during onboarding so maintenance does not depend on a manual daily task.

Choose Self Hosted or Hosted by Us

Run VISTA on compatible infrastructure managed by your academy, or arrange hosting through Case Files Professional. Self hosting gives your organization responsibility for the server, monitoring, application maintenance, storage, and recovery. Hosted arrangements define support, backup, storage, and maintenance responsibilities before launch. Discuss student volume, course media, integrations, and operational needs to select the right deployment.

Adapt the platform to your training organization

VISTA is designed for schools, training academies, professional education providers, and organizations delivering structured online instruction. Use it for professional development and specialized training programs whose content and requirements you control. Curriculum, tuition, instructional time, assessments, and approvals are specific to each academy and course; the product does not come with blanket approval for regulated training.
